OUR WORLD
Maps are even representations of a part or the totality of the earth's surface. It is a representation, in other words, it is not the exactly reality. It is like a photo where you are not but an even representation of yourself.
(Los mapas son representaciones planas de na parte o de la totalidad de la superficie terrestre. Es una representación, es decir, no es la realidad exacta. Es como una foto tuya donde no eres tú sino una representación de ti mismo.)
THE CARDINAL POINTS
To get one´s bearings or locate a place we use the cardinal points, which have a close relation with the movement of the Sun in the sky during the day, as a result of the rotation movement of the Earth.
(Para orientarnos o localizar un lugar, se utilizan los puntos cardinales, que poseen una relación directa con del movimiento del Sol en el cielo a lo largo del día, consecuencia del movimiento de rotación de la Tierra)
The Earth is a sphere that rotates on its axis. The Equator divides the Earth into the Northern Hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere.
(La Tierra es una esfera que gira sobre su eje. El ecuador divide la Tierra en el hemisferio norte y el hemisferio sur)
