WORK

In this unit we are  going to: 

1. Identify jobs in different sectors.
2. Distinguish between jobs and processes in different sectors.
3. Identify tools for different jobs.

(En esta unidad vamos: 1. Identificar oficios en diferentes sectores. 2. Distinguir entre trabajos y procesos en diferentes sectores. 3. Identificar herramientas para diferentes oficios.) 

The primary sector obtains natural products.  (El sector primario obtiene productos naturales)

The secondary sector transforms raw materials into products.  (El sector secundario transforma las materias primas en productos)

The tertiary sector offers services to citizens. It´s called the service sector.  (El sector terciario ofrece servicio a los ciudadanos. Es llamado sector de los servicios)

An industrial process consists of each of the steps necessary to transform raw materials into finished products.

(Un proceso industrial consiste en cada uno de los pasos necesarios para transformar materias primas en productos acabados)

Each job has different tools and instruments. 

(Cada oficio tiene diferentes herramientas e instrumentos)

THE LIFE CYCLE OF A PINE-TREE

Last Tuesday, we worked about the life cycle of the pine-tree with original and natural elements and materials. Pupils could observe and learn the growing process of this tree, which is very popular in Andalusia. Furthermore, we did some group and individual activities.
We can´t ignore that the best way to learn is by bringing reality closer to them.

(El pasado martes trabajamos sobre el ciclo de vida del pino con elementos y materiales originales y naturales. Los alumnos/as pudieron observar y aprender el proceso de crecimiento de este árbol, el cual es muy popular en Andalucía. Además, hicimos algunas actividades grupales e individuales. 

No podemos obviar que la mejor manera de aprender es acercando la realidad a ellos.)
